Baking Tip
Pan-coat greasing is the one-step way to grease and flour pans. Cakes will be easy to remove and have a smooth, crumb-free surface for easy frosting.
Combine 1/2 cup soft shortening and 1/4 cup all purpose flour and mix together well. Store covered in your pantry or on cupboard shelf. Makes about 2/3 cup. To use, generously grease bottom and sides of pans.
